Donations through the United World Colleges (International) - London

All UK tax payers, who are individuals, may make donations to registered UK charities and the registered charity is able to claim 28% of the donation back from the Inland Revenue if they Gift Aid their donation.
This is not just UK former students, but anyone who is a UK tax payer at present and wishes to contribute to the Adriatic College.
Thus if those paying UK tax make a donation to The United World Colleges (International) by cash, cheque or credit card, the International Office can process the donation and apply for the additional 28% Gift Aid. The United World Colleges (International) can then make an enlarged donation to the Adriatic College.

Notes
You must pay income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations in a tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give).
You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the charity.
If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel your declaration (see note 1)
If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self-Assessment tax return.
If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, ask the charity. Or ask your local tax office for leaflet IR 65.
Please notify the charity if you change your name or address.
