25th Juanuary, 2005 - Update regarding "Proposta di Legge"

The discussion regarding the law proposal by the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies took place on January 18th. The outcome was positive.

At present the opinions from other related Commissions such as the Budget Commission and the Public Instruction & Culture Commission are being heard.

We are confident that the proposal will be approved in its legislative stage. That is, without being discussed on the floor of the Chamber of Deputies.
The next step will be to follow through with the same procedures, which presumably will be speedier, in the Senate of the Parliament.
