I.T infrastructure Upgrade

We are upgrading our Information Technlogy Infrastructure moving our services to new hardware. Due to this upgrade the following services will be off-line till Monday 9th of January 2005:
- Graduate Database System
- On-line Donation System
- Intranet access from outside
The following systems will be accessible only from the computers of the College:
- Student Management System
- Alumni Management System

All the services are now running on new hardware. The new system offers better performance, security and reliability.
All the databases have been upgraded to the newer version of our DBMS.

Music
| 26th Jan 2006: Classical Music Concert in TriesteOn Thursday 26th January, at 5 pm in Trieste at the “Opera Maria Basiliadis” (via Pierluigi da Palestrina, 6) the IB Music Students of the United World College of the Adriatic performed a romantic classical music recital. Solo pianist Nomingua BADRAKH (Mongolia) played the “Patetique Sonata” by Beethoven and “Intermezzo Opera 118” by Brahms. This was followed by a performance of the “Trio”, Sophie MAYERHOFFER (Austria) – piano, Karien KOOIMAN (The Netherlands) – violin and Yingxin JIANG (Singapore) – cello, who played the Sonata “Gli Spettri” by Beethoven. | Saturday 28th Jan 2006: Choir performance in Sistiana On Saturday 28th January, at 12:30 in Sistiana at the “Carlo de Marchesetti” Istituto Comprensivo, the Adriatic College Choir will perform a folk music recital, recalling ideals of peace and international understanding. The concert was organized for the "International Holocaust Remembrance Day" - "Giorno della Memoria". |
