2nd April: “Day of Solidarity” Celebrations in
Duino
|
|
Last Sunday morning was devoted to games and fun in order to involve all inhabitants of Duino:
Thus the Adriatic College students repeated the initiative which in the past had great success both
with school children and with adults, who enthusiastically participated.
It was the Day of Solidarity for Uganda, which started at 10.30 with a market and with “
micromagics”, i.e. games, animation and workshops for the youngest.
At 12.00 the Choir sang some songs, and this was followed by music and dances of the
countries of origin of the students in the Foresteria Courtyard.

April Sports Fair |
The Sports Fair held in the College in the days 10th, 11th and 12th of April put the sports at the center of the extra accademic life of our students. Every student was given the opportunity to try out disciplines that are not normally offered in the College like skating, aquagym, step, bowling and horseriding. The event opened with an assembly on Monday afternoon where one of our volunteers, Vanessa gave a very interesting presentation on Olympic games and the students who wanted took a quiz with 12 questions on sports. Then, the practical sessions started. It was a success, also thanks to the crucial contributions given by some of our students who offered to lead sessions of different activities (eg: ballroom, pilates, funky dancing, tennis...) and by the volunteers who helped us a lot with the organization and with the driving.
