London Conference

On Friday 23rd November 2007 the British-Italian Society and the British-Slovene Society held
a joint event in London at St. Andrews – by the – Wardrobe in the presence of the Italian
Ambassador HE Giancarlo Aragona and the Slovenian Ambassador HE Iztok Mirošič.
After a talk on “Literature and the Border” by Dr. Katia Pizzi, the Headmaster of the UWC of
the Adriatic, Marc Abrioux, made a brief presentation of the Adriatic College.
During the event money was raised in favour of the Adriatic College for its educational and
social service programme within the “Cross border project”, involving the Italian and Slovene
communities.
